This astonishing Commentary was scanned or transcribed then checked from books of its several editions spanning c.1876 and 1908. Some publishers' details and dates were retained, and the design style of the old books was simply copied, in deference to the then printer's art. Throughout this arrangement spelling anomalies were retained for their charm, while obvious typographical errors were corrected in sympathy with the perseverence of cold metal compositors also suffering the “terrible prolixity” of our God-given Cornelius. As this CD version was done without knowledge of Greek and Hebrew a few mistakes were certainly made (particularly ζ - which can be found by searching each chapter/file via its number “&# 950;”)—awaiting the day when interested persons can send corrections to mmcd@netconnect.com.au, so that, Deo volente, a perfect master disc can be produced.
